Meet our General Dentists

Dr. Derek Zimbardi graduated from SUNY Binghamton in 1992 and received his post- graduate degree from NYU College of Dentistry in 1996.  Dr. Zimbardi then performed a 2 year post doctoral General Practice Residency at LIJ Medical Center from 1996-1998.  He has been in private practice since 1998 and is a current  member of the ADA, NY State Dental Association, and the Nassau County Dental Society. 

Dr. Vincent Vomero  graduated from St. John's University in 1995.  He received his post- graduate degree from NYU College of Dentistry in 1999 before completing a postdoctoral General Practice Residency program at New York Hospital from 1999-2000. He has been in private practice since 2000. Dr. Vomero is a current member of the ADA, NY State Dental Association, and the Nassau County Dental Society.

 Dr. Chris Salierno received his B.S. degree from Muhlenberg College and his D.D.S. from Stony Brook School of Dental Medicine.  He completed his formal training at Stony Brook Hospital’s General Practice Residency program where he focused on implant prosthetics.  While in dental school, he was the National President of the American Student Dental Association.  Today, he continues his advocacy efforts with the American Dental Association, the New York State Dental Association and the Suffolk County Dental Society. Dr. Salierno lectures on his particular areas of interest including occlusion, dental materials, and implant prosthodontics. In 2005, he returned to Stony Brook as an Assistant Clinical Professor.

 Dr. Alexander Bogler  received a B.S. degree from Stony Brook University and then went on to receive a D.D.S. degree from Stony Brook School of Dental Medicine. Dr. Bogler completed a General Practice Residency at Stony Brook University Hospital focusing on esthetics and implantology. He has also received formalized training in implantology and esthetics from both the New York Hospital in Queens and the Nobel Biocare Institute. Dr Bogler is an active member of the American Dental Association, the Academy of General Dentistry and the Suffolk County Dental Society.
